Description: The West Virginia Grant Resource Centers invite you to attend a virtual Live Grant Assistance Session, in which we'll be shining our Resource Spotlight on the West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 12-1 p.m. Led by Priscila Santos, Co-Director of the Grant Centers, this session will feature Carrie Staton and George Carico, who serve as the Directors of the West Virginia University and Marshall University Centers, respectively.

 In this session, Director Carrie Staton will discuss the work the Centers do to support brownfields redevelopment and revitalization projects in downtowns, small towns and rural communities, and rural areas across the state. Carrie will also explain how communities can access their free technical assistance services. The Centers collaborate and coordinate closely to provide training and technical assistance, facilitate site preparation efforts, engage community stakeholders, and identify and pursue project funding, including through the EPA Brownfields Grants Program.
